The very choice of the object's assembled often trigger a distant memory, the way a song can define a specific time in your life. The 3-D elements added to my boxes are 95 percent recycled/found objects & I often structure my own box frames from discarded pallet wood. Themes are revealed by various moments as I move through my everyday activities, as well as travel...a mood,a miracle, an impression, someones implied dream, a lyric, a memory, an object. I hope for my assemblage's to tell a story or convey a message or feeling, share a moment or a dream with a viewer. I desire for a connection; a viewers smile, laugh or nod, perhaps thinking..."I've had that feeling". When not hanging out with my family or hiking, I prefer an Italian Piazza...
